Description

On April 16, 2020, the Chinese Government donated medical supplies to the Tunisian Ministry of Health. The supplies included N95 masks, nucleic acid testing kits, and medical goggles. The shipment of supplies was sent on April 15, 2020, arriving at an airport in Tunisia. Wang Wenbin, the Chinese Ambassador to Tunisia, Zhang Gengling, the Economic and Commercial Counselor at the Chinese Embassy, and the General Directorate of the Tunisian Ministry of Health received the supplies at the airport. The purpose of this donation is to help Tunisia fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation on April 16, 2020. Wang Wenbin, the Chinese Ambassador to Tunisia, handed over the supplies to Tunisian Defense Minister Imed Hazgui. Following the ceremony, the two officials signed the handover certificate.
