Xi’an City provides anti-epidemic materials to Azerbaijan in May 2020

On May 5, 2020, Xi’an City, a municipality of the Shaanxi Province in China, provided anti-epidemic supplies to Sumgait City in Azerbaijan. The supplies included 100,000 disposable medical surgical masks, 2,000 sets of medical protective clothing, 1,000 pairs of goggles, 100 forehead temperature guns, 1 ventilator, 1 real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR instrument, 1 nucleic acid extraction instrument, 1,000 packages of cell preservation solution and 157 boxes of virus DNA/RNA extraction kits. The total estimated value of this donation is 1.645 million yuan. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. The ceremony was attended by heads of relevant government departments and medical staff representatives. Specifics on who was in attendance are unavailable.
