Description

On May 12, 2020, a team of 12 Chinese medical experts arrived in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) to help fight the Covid-19 pandemic (see project ID#93002). The team also brought a donation of anti-pandemic supplies with them. Chinese Ambassador to the DRC, Zhu Jing, Deputy Mister of Foreign Affairs of the DRC, Chedia, Deputy Minister of Health, Albert Biyombo, and officials from various government offices, including the Ministry of International Cooperation of the DRC and the National Institute of Biomedical Research attended the handover ceremony.
