Project narrative

On May 16, 2020, the handover ceremony for the third batch of Covid-19 aid donated by the Chinese Government was held in Cairo, Egypt. The donation was estimated to cost 57 million Egyptian pounds (3.6 million USD). The donation consisted of 180,000 N95 masks, 1 million medical surgical masks, 90,000 pieces of medical protective clothing, 80,000 testing reagents, 70,000 disposable surgical gloves, and 1,000 thermometers. It is estimated that the batch exceeded 35 tons. The batches of materials are captured in the following projects: first batch (#94241), second batch (#94242) and third batch (#94256).
