On February 4, 2021, China donated supplies to the Electoral Commission of Iraq to support preparation for the upcoming special election in Iraq. Both the Chinese Ambassador and the President of Iraqi Electoral Commission attended the handover ceremony and signed the handover document. The supplies included video meeting systems and computers. The monetary value is of the donation is unknown. This donation is an important support for advancing the upcoming election in Iraq.
