Project narrative

On May 14, 2020, the Chinese Development Bank provided anti-epidemic supplies to Morocco. The supplies arrived at Casablanca International Airport in Morocco. The supplies included 36 ventilators and 98,000 disposable medical masks. These supplies will be used to improve COVID-19 response efforts in Morocco. The monetary value of this donation is unknown, but "the value of this donation is the highest among all those made by the Chinese bank abroad to date," said Bank of Africa (BOA) in a press release.
