Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On June 8, 2020, the government of Ningxia Hui, a city in China, provided anti-epidemic supplies to Morocco. The supplies included 2,000 medical masks, 25,000 surgical masks, and 2,000 personal protective suits. The supplies were transported from Yinchuan, the regional capital, to Casablanca-Settat in Morocco where they will be distributed across the Casablanca-Settat region of Morocco to improve COVID-19 response efforts. They will be delivered through the Chinese embassy in Morocco. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. The region of Casablanca-Settat signed an agreement on establishing relations of friendly exchanges with Ningxia in January 2006. It is one of eight international friendship cities to receive medical assistance from the Ningxia Hui government.
