Project narrative

One March 11, 2021, China committed to donating 100,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccines to Palestine. The donation should help Palestine in vaccinating the population against Covid-19. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. The vaccines donated by China arrived in Ramallah in the West Bank on March 29, 2021. The Head of the Office of the People's Republic of China to Palestine and the Palestinian Minister of Health both attended the handover ceremony at the Palestinian Ministry of Health. Local and international media was also present to cover the event.
