Description

On May 21, 2020, the Chinese government provided anti-epidemic supplies to Azerbaijan. The donated supplies included 5,000 nucleic acid testing reagents, 10 non-invasive ventilators, 3,500 sets of medical protective clothing, 600,000 medical masks, and 50,000 KN95 masks. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Azerbaijan. China’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Guo Min, Deputy Foreign Minister Hasanov, Deputy Health Minister Gasimov, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Abdullayeva, and representatives of local mainstream media attended the ceremony. Ambassador Guo Min and Deputy Health Minister Gasimov jointly signed the handover certificate for this donation. The first batch of anti-epidemic supplies is covered in Project ID#93960.
