Project narrative

On June 11, 2020, the Chinese Embassy in Lebanon provided COVID-19 medical aid to the government of Lebanon. The aid consisted of 17,500 medical protective masks, 1,500 medical protective suits, 1,320 pairs of goggles, and 1,000 pairs of shoe covers. The monetary value of the donation is unknown. The donation occurred in a handover ceremony attended by Chinese Ambassador Wang Kejian and Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Dr. Nassif Hitti. The purpose of this donation is to help Lebanon fight against the pandemic.
