The Confucius Classroom at Viborg Katedralskole was established on September 26, 2014. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, Viborg Katedralskole with a grant. The Beijing Normal University was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom.
