Project narrative

On March 20, 2020, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China provided anti-epidemic materials to Pakistan. The materials included masks and other protective gear. These materials will be used to improve COVID-19 response efforts in Pakistan. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation at the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan. Pang Chunxue, the Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy, the Director-General of the China Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, the Deputy Mayor of Islamabad, and representatives of the Sindh Province attended the ceremony.
