Project narrative

On April 29, 2021, the Chinese government provided 50,000 doses of the Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine to Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to the Chinese Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, this donation represents cooperation between China and Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as China's commitment to helping the country overcome COVID-19. A handover ceremony was held for this donation in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ji Ping, the Chinese Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech as did Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ankica Gudeljevic.
