Project narrative

On May 18, 2021, the Chinese Embassy provided anti-pandemic supplies to the Foundation for Shared Societies and Values, Sarajevo. This donation was made in response to the severity of COVID-19 in Bosnia and Herzegovina and served as reciprocation for the Foundation for Common Society and Values’ donation of masks to the Chinese Embassy earlier in the year. The specific type of supplies and their amount, as well as the monetary value of this donation are unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. Ji Ping, China’s Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Zlatko Lagumdžija, the Chairman of the Foundation for Common Society and Values of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the former Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina attended the ceremony. After delivering a speech, Ji Ping donated the anti-epidemic materials to the Foundation.
