Project narrative

On or around April 15, 2020, the City of Taizhou, Zhejiang donated 10,000 face masks to the Kirklees City Council in West Yorkshire, England. The masks were to be given to frontline workers caring for vulnerable people or delivering key services. ConnectChina – a Huddersfield-based company that supports business and civic links between China and the UK – volunteered to coordinate the arrangements for the shipping and delivery of the masks.
