On May 8, 2020, Chinese medical experts from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region held a video conference with officials from the Tajikistan Ministry of Health and Social Protection. The Chinese doctors provided expertise to help Tajikistan combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
