Project narrative

On May 5, 2020, the Chinese government and the Red Cross Society of China donated 620,000 face masks to the Singaporean government to help Singapore in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The donation consisted of 500,000 surgical masks, 100,000 KN95 masks, and 20,000 N95 masks, which were to be added to the Singaporean government's national stockpile. The donation was presented during a ceremony with the Chinese Ambassador to Singapore, Hong Ziaoyong and Singapore's Senior Minister of State of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Transport, Lam Pin Min.
