Project narrative

On April 26th, 2020, the Henan Provincial government in China donated anti-epidemic materials to Romania, Poland, and Germany. In April, a train from Zhengzhou, a city in the Henan Province, carried anti-epidemic materials to provide aid to European cities, including Hamburg, Germany. The total materials donated consisted of 300,000 masks and 10,000 sets of PPE. Braila in Romania and Lublin, Poland also received part of this donation, but the allocation of resources is unknown. The donation was made as a reconciliation and an expression of gratitude for the European cities' support to Henan during the COVID-19 pandemic.
