Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region donates 16,000 masks and 500 sets of protective clothing to Shimane Prefecture (Linked to Record ID#94218 and #94831)

On May 15, 2020, the Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in China donated 16,000 masks and 500 sets of protective clothing to Shimane Prefecture in Japan. In a May 25, 2020 thank-you letter to Ningxia for their donation, the governor of Shimane Prefecture stated that the masks and other items would be distributed mainly to local healthcare workers.. In the same donation, the Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region also donated 1,000 N95 medical protective masks, 35,000 medical surgical masks and 500 sets of medical protective clothing to Tula, Russia (Record ID#94831) and 1,000 N95 medical masks, 15,000 medical protective masks, and 500 medical protective suits to Harghita County, Romania (Record ID#94218).
