In early November 2018, a syndicate of 15 banks — including the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC), the Bank of China (BOC), and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) — entered into a $450 million AUD syndicated facility agreement with Qantas Airways Limited, Australia's flag carrier airline. The proceeds of this loan were to be used by the borrower for general corporate purposes. Record ID#94832 captures ABC's contribution. Record ID#94833 captures BOC's contribution. Record ID#94834 captures ICBC's contribution. In addition to ABC, BOC, and ICBC, the following lenders contributed to the loan syndicate: BNP Paribas S.A., National Australia Bank Limited (NAB), Standard Chartered Bank PLC, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ), Citi, Commerzbank AG, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CACIB), MUFG Bank, Ltd., Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation, Limited (OCBC Bank), E.Sun Commercial Bank, and Taiwan Financial Holding. BNP Paribas, NAB, and Standard Chartered served as joint bookrunners and mandated lead arrangers. ABC, BOC, ICBC, ANZ, Citi, Commerzbank, CBA, CACIB, MUFG, and OCBC joined in syndication as mandated lead arrangers. E.Sun Commercial Bank and Taiwan Financial Holding joined as arrangers.
