Project narrative

On January 16, the Chinese Ambassador to Mali, Zhu Liying, visited the ophthalmology team from China temporarily stationed at Mali Hospital in Bamako (see Record ID#93589 for more information on the medical team). The ambassador was accompanied on his visit by Mali's minister of health, Michel Sidibe. In honor of his visit, the Ambassador donated a small box of medicines to the hospital. The exact number and type of medications is unknown.
