In 2015, Sinopec Canada Energy Ltd., under its operating subsidiary Sinopec Daylight, donated $136,810 CAD to the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation, according to the Sinopec subsidiary's annual report for the year. Much of the funding was directed to the Diamond Shine Fund, which supports specialist efforts to understand, diagnose, and treat cancer in children.
