Project narrative

On October 13, 2021 it was announced that the city of Guangzhou would be donating the award winning Guangzhou Garden to the city of Bristol, where it would be rebuilt at the University of Bristol's Botanic Garden. The garden won Best in Show at the 2021 RHS Chelsea Flower Show and was donated to honor the 20 year anniversary of the sister-city agreement between Bristol and Guangzhou. The garden was expected to be unveiled in the early summer of 2022.
