Project narrative
In 2020, Sinopec Canada Energy Ltd., through its operating subsidiary Sinopec Daylight, donated approximately CAD 200,000 to charitable causes throughout Canada, mostly centered in the province of Alberta. These funds were dispersed to various not-for-profit organizations. The specific allocation of funds among these and, presumably, unknown organizations has not been specified. In some cases, the destination of the dispersed funds is known, and those destinations are captured in the below linked records. However, no projects for which both the destination and amount of funding is known have been captured for 2020. Dispersed funding for which the destination is known, but the specific allocation amount is unknown, are captured in these TUFF projects: Inn From The Cold (Record ID#95051), Calgary Zoo (Record ID#95052), Feed The Hungry (Record ID#95053), Warburg and District Memorial Area (Record ID#95054), Alberta Conservative Association (ACA) (Record ID#95055) All further known funding for which the destination and specific allocation amount is unknown, amounting to approximately CAD 200,000 is captured in this TUFF project.

1. The OECD code for this project was chosen as "160 - OTHER SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE AND SERVICES" as this is the majority designation for the related known projects. However, other designations are common in those projects.
