Project narrative

On July 8, 2020, the "Vocational School Equipment and Material Letters of Exchange" agreement was signed whereby the Chinese Government agreed to donate CNY 27 million (USD 4 million) in training equipment to vocational institutes in Pakistan. The signing ceremony was held at the office of Pakistan's Ministry of Economic Affairs. Yao Jing, Ambassador of People’s Republic of China to Pakistan, and Dr. Wang Zhihua, Minister Counsellor, Embassy of China in Pakistan attended the ceremony. From Pakistan side, Noor Ahmed, Federal Secretary of Economic Affairs Division, signed the LOE. The equipment will be used to help train skilled workers and to improve the socio-economic development in Pakistan. The equipment is comprised of diesel generators, computers, printers, projectors, and classroom furniture. The donation is to go towards 50 different vocational schools.
