Project narrative

On March 12, 2020, the Chinese Government announced that it would donate 50,000 medical face masks and 1,000 COVID-19 test kits to Sri Lanka. Then, on April 1, 2020, the donation of 50,000 medical masks and 1,008 nucleic acid diagnostic kits was handed over to Sri Lanka's Ministry of Health. This was the first batch of the Chinese Government's COVID-19 aid to Sri Lanka; the second batch is captured by linked Record ID#95173 and the third batch is captured by linked Record ID#95526.
