Project narrative

On March 19, 2021, the Chinese Government provided a FCFA 15 million grant to the Government of Equatorial Guinea. The purpose of the donation is to aid victims of the Bata explosion that took place on March 7, 2021. This donation was offered in addition to a donation from the Red Cross Society of China (captured in Record ID#95333). A handover ceremony was held for this donation. The Chinese Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea, Qi Mei, and the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Equatorial Guinea, Pedro Nguema Ndong, attended the ceremony and signed a delivery certificate.
