Project narrative

In 2021, the Chinese Government and the Government of Afghanistan signed a grant agreement for the Ministry of Justice Mosque and Well Construction Project. The purpose of the project is to construct a mosque and two wells in the Ministry of Justice of Afghanistan. The start of the project was marked by a foundation stone laying ceremony on December 12, 2021. Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan Wang Yu and Acting Minister of Justice Sheikh Abdul Hakim Sharae attended the ceremony. On September 5, 2022, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Justice announced that the project was 75% completed.
