Project narrative

On December 11, 2018, Petrochina Canada Ltd. donated CAD 20,000 to the Northern Lights Health Foundation. The donated funds supported the HeartMath program, which uses mental health and stress release tools to promote student learning and success. In October 2018, the program was launched at schools in the Fort McMurray Catholic School Division, Fort McMurray Public School Division and Northlands School Division. In total, 34 Albertan schools were reported to have received HeartMath materials.
