Description

On December 12, 2020, the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality announced in a letter that it would be donating medical supplies worth Rs.16 million LKR to the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC). The donated materials included personal protection equipment (PPE), a ventilator, and PCR test kits. The first batch was expected to arrive in Colombo on December 12, 2020; the second batch was planned to arrive on December 14; and the third batch was planned to arrive on December 17. The first batch arrived as scheduled.
