Project narrative

On December 15, 2020, the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka issued a Rs. 3,418,000 LKR grant to the University of Ruhuna to finance a new multimedia center at the university. Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka H.E. Qi Zhenhong handed over the check to Senior Prof. Sujeewa Amarasena, Vice Chancellor of the University. The ceremony was witnessed by Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Secretary General Dhammika Dasanayake and Mr. Luo Chong, Chief of the Political Section of the Chinese Embassy.
