Project narrative

On October 30, 2020, the Chinese government, through its Ministry of Public Security (MPS), donated over 40 boxes of face masks and face shields to the Bureau of Customs (BOC). The donation from the MPS of the People's Republic of China was received by Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero together with Deputy Commissioner for Intelligence Group (IG) Raniel Ramiro, during the turnover ceremony on Friday at the OCOM Conference Room, Port of Manila, the BOC said in a statement. According to the BOC, this batch of medical supplies consisting of 20 boxes of face masks and 22 boxes of face shields, the personal protective equipment shall be used in ensuring the safety and health of the men and women of the Bureau in the delivery of efficient public service.
