On February 20, 2020, PJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel signed a $4.15 billion syndicated facility agreement with a group of Chinese and non-Chinese banks. The loan carried a 7-year maturity and an interest rate of LIBOR plus 150 basis points. The borrower was expected to use the proceeds of the loan to service the company’s outstanding debts, finance capital expenditure, and for general corporate purposes.
