Description

On May 6, 2020, the Cabinet in Sri Lanka provided approval for the Government of Sri Lanka to borrow 15 billion LKR (USD $46,465,200) from China Development Bank to develop 105 kilometers of roads throughout Sri Lanka. The Akuressa-Kamburupitiya road, Beliatta-Kirinde road, Tangalle-Weeraketiya road, Walasmulla-Weeraketiya road, Katuwana-UruBokka road, and Parandeniya-Hakmana road were among those selected.
