Project narrative

On May 15, 2019, Lembaga Pembiayaan Ekspor Indonesia (Indonesia Eximbank or LPEI) — an Indonesia state-owned bank — signed a $900 million syndicated loan with a group of Chinese and non-Chinese banks for on-lending purposes. The loan consisted of two tranches: a $600 million tranche known as ‘Tranche A’ and a $300 million tranche known as ‘Tranche B’. The final maturity date of Tranche A is June 23, 2022. China Development Bank (CDB) and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) each contributed $65 million to Tranche A.
