Project narrative

On May 12, 2021, the Chinese embassy in the Philippines donated 1,000 tablets to the government of Manila, Philippines in a virtual handover ceremony attended by Ambassador Huang Xilian and Mayor Isko Moreno. The tablets were part of the Distance Education Equipment Supporting Program sponsored by the embassy to help students with remote learning. The brand and monetary value of the tablets are unknown.
