On September 11, 2019, the Chinese Government signed an agreement with the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Beijing to provide a supercomputer system worth ¥109.66 million CNY to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Kazakhstan. The agreement between the Chinese and Kazakh governments came into effect on March 12, 2021.
