On December 13, 2021, the Chinese Embassy in Timor-Leste awarded the Chinese Ambassador Scholarship to 75 students at the Universidade Nacional Timor Lorosa’e (UNTL). This scholarship is designed to help intelligent and poor students complete their studies. The monetary value of each scholarship is unknown. This program was began in 2019 (see project ID#90710)
