Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

Prior to April 16, 2020, Liaoning University donated 1,000 face masks to Leicester Royal Infirmary, run by the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. Liaoning University contacted De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) intending to donate the masks to DMU, but DMU asked to pass the masks on to Leicester Royal Infirmary. The parcel of face masks was shipped to Leicester Royal Infirmary. DMU called Liaoning a "partner university" and stated that they had long enjoyed a close partnership with the SunWah International Business School of Liaoning University, which had benefited thousands of students and staff from both Liaoning and DMU over many years.
