Project narrative

On December 14, 2021, the Chinese Defense Attaché provided a donation of masks, hand sanitizers, food, and other supplies to the Republic of Fiji Military Forces. This donation was made to support Fiji’s COVID-19 response efforts. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. The Defence Attaché for the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of the People's Republic of China, Senior Colonel Yu Ke, presented the batch of supplies to the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF). Commander of Land Forces, Colonel Onisimo Covunisaqa, also attended the ceremony and thanked the Chinese DA for the timely assistance.
