Project narrative

In December of 2021, the Chinese Government provided USD $85,000 to the Fiji Ministry of Agriculture. This donation was made to support the Ministry’s upgrading of farm roads in remote areas throughout Fiji. The Permanent Secretary for Agriculture, Dr. Vinesh Kumar, stated that the donation will also be useful for farmers who were negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
