Project narrative

In April 2007, a group of nine banks, including Bank of China, contributed to a SGD 91.5 million syndicated loan facility to real estate investment company Springleaf No. 1. The loan has a maturity of three years, five months, carrying an interest rate of SIBOR plus 70 basis points. The loan facility will support the acquisition of 12 office units in Springleaf Tower in Anson Road, Singapore. NordLB contributed SGD 15 million. Bank of China, Bank of East Asia, Bank of Taiwan, and Crédit Industriel et Commercial each contributed SGD 12.5 million. Standard Chartered Bank contributed SGD 9 million. RHB Bank contributed SGD 6.5 million. Maybank contributed SHD 6 million. Hong Leong Finance contributed SGD 5 million.
