On December 15, 2021, Zhu Liying, the Chinese ambassador to Mauritius, attended the ceremony of donating food packages to impoverished families in Mauritius jointly organized by the embassy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mauritius and the Ministry of Social Integration. The monetary value of the donation is unknown.
