Project narrative

On December 16, 2021, the Chinese Embassy in Burundi donated food, including rice and milk, and school supplies to the Bujumbura Public Orphanage Burundi. The embassy also helped to repair a damaged room of the orphanage. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A donation ceremony was held for this donation. Zhao Jiangping, the Chinese Ambassador in Burundi, and Ms. Sabhimik, the Minister of National Unity, Social Affairs, Human Rights and Gender Equality, attended the ceremony.
