On April 2nd, 2020, the Chinese Embassy in Madagascar donated anti-COVID-19 materials to the Municipal Government of Antananarivo in Madagascar. Ambassador Yang Xiaorong and Mayor Naina of Antananarivo attended a video conference for the donation, which included medicines and other unspecified materials. The monetary value of the donation is unknown.
