Project narrative

On December 15, 2021, the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Recife, through the Recife Overseas Chinese Association, donated 1200 Christmas gift bags to the Recife City Government and the Pernambuco State Military Police Association. The donation will be distributed to local poor families, the military, and the police. The USD value of the donation is unknown. The donation was part of the "Love from China" charity activity, which aims to thank Recife City for its protection of local overseas Chinese citizens. This event marks the seventh year that China has hosted the "Love from China" activity in Brazil.
