Project narrative

On June 16, 2021, the Chinese government provided 1 million CanSino COVID-19 vaccines to Chile. The purpose of this donation is to support Chile’s COVID-19 response efforts. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. The Chilean Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, Mayor of the Metropolitan Region, Felipe Guevara, Minister of Health of the Metropolitan Region, Paula Labra, head of the National Immunization Program (PNI), Cecilia González, and the PNI Supply Coordinator, Felipe Muñoz, attended the ceremony.
