Project narrative

On August 27, 2021, the Chinese Government donated anti-epidemic equipment to the Government of Madagascar. The equipment included dual ultraviolet disinfection carts, visual laryngoscopes and portable phlegm aspirators. The purpose of this donation is to support Madagascar’s COVID-19 response efforts. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. China’s Ambassador to Madagascar, Guo Xiaomei, Madagascar’s Public Health Minister, Zely Arivelo, and other official members of Madagascar’s Ministry of Public Health attended the ceremony.
