Project narrative

On February 9, 2021, Guyana's Minister of Health welcomed a sixteen-member medical team of doctors from China. The medical team included doctors specializing in various fields such as general surgery, burns and plastic surgery, orthopedics, nephrology, acupuncturist and moxibustion therapy, radiology, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology, anesthesiology, and pathology. China has been sending medical teams to Guyana since 1993.
