Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On November 10, 2021, Ambassador Zhou Pingjian from the Chinese Embassy in Kenya presented 59 Chinese Ambassador Scholarships to university students in Kenya. 24 scholarships were given to students at the University of Nairobi. The Chinese Ambassador Scholarship covers "university fees", presumably funding the recipients' educational and residential costs. There have been a total of 179 recipients since the launch of the Chinese Ambassador Scholarship in Kenya in 2013. The monetary value of each scholarship is unknown.
